Brest State Technical University and Tajik Agrarian University — New Partners in Education and Science!

During a meeting of the Belarusian-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, an important long-term partnership agreement was signed.

The document was signed by Andrei Nikolaevich Parfievich, Rector of Brest State Technical University, and Professor Usmon Mamur, Rector of the Shirinshokh Shotemur Tajik Agrarian University.

The purpose of this agreement is to establish and develop direct, mutually beneficial cooperation between the universities in education and science. This step will help integrate the national higher education systems of both countries into the global scientific and educational space, and contribute to the sustainable development of both countries.

The main areas of cooperation include:

  • Exchange of students and faculty for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs, as well as internships and internships.
  • Joint work on developing educational programs and training research personnel.
  • Inviting faculty and scientists for lectures, seminars, consultations, and participation in management.
  • Creating joint research teams for research, grants, and dissertation defenses.
  • Holding joint events and publishing research results.
  • Sharing information on programs and academic documents.
  • Sharing information on international events and strengthening networking.

This agreement opens new horizons for the joint development of education and science, marking an important step toward strengthening friendly ties and mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan.
