1) Special aspects of admission to the university

for citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine

Citizens of these states have the opportunity to enter the universities of Belarus according to the rules applicable to foreign citizens:

admission is based on the results of the interview,
instruction on the terms of payment applicable to foreign citizens,
upon completion of instruction, a diploma of the type provided for foreign citizens is issued (in Russian and English).

To enter BrSTU you need to:

arrive at the university before October 15,
submit documents to the Admissions Committee for foreign citizens (room 325),
successfully pass the interview,
conclude an instruction contract and make a payment,
undergo a medical examination,
after enrolling in the university, start studying.

For citizens of these states, visa-free entry to the Republic of Belarus is established with mandatory registration with the citizenship and migration authorities within 10 working days upon arrival.

citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan

Citizens of these states have two opportunities to enter Belarusian universities:

according to the rules applicable to foreign citizens (according to the results of the interview, at the cost of instruction provided for foreign citizens with the right to receive a diploma of the sample provided for foreign citizens in Russian and English);
according to the rules applicable to citizens of the Republic of Belarus (according to the results of centralized testing, with the right to receive a diploma of the sample provided for citizens of Belarus):
- at the expense of the Belarusian republican budget;
- on the basis of payment with the tuition costs provided for citizens of Belarus.

If you choose the first path, you need to:

arrive at the university before October 15,
submit documents to the Admissions Committee for foreign students,
successfully pass the interview,
conclude an instruction contract and make a payment,
be enrolled in a university and start studying.

If you choose the second path, you need to:

register to participate in the centralized testing and pay the registration fee. arrive at the university before June 10 - the beginning of the central testing period,
get tested,
submit documents and certificates with test results to the Admissions Committee for citizens of Belarus from July 16th.

Special aspects of the visa requirements for citizens of Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan in Belarus

Citizens of these countries must apply for temporary registration with the migration authorities within 30 days from the date of entry into the territory of the Republic of Belarus. On the basis of the order for admission to the university, they are issued an annual registration.

For registration of temporary residence, you must contact the International Department of BrSTU (room 325).

citizens of Ukraine and stateless persons residing in the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine

In accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated August 30, 2014 No. 420 "On the stay of citizens of Ukraine in the Republic of Belarus", the university has the right to accept within time, established by Decree No. 18, citizens of Ukraine and stateless persons who lived in the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions for at least a year and arrived in Belarus to obtain permits for temporary or permanent residence, if they provide documents confirming their residence and education in the territories mentioned above, so that they can receive higher education of the 1st stage at the expense of the republican budget or on the basis of payment provided for citizens of Belarus.

Acceptance of documents for study at the expense of the republican budget (full-time study): July 26 - 28.

Interview and enrollment: until August 1.

Acceptance of documents for training on the basis of payment (correspondence and full-time study), interview and enrollment: until October 15.

For citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who previously studied at universities in Ukraine

Brest State Technical University will be happy to welcome citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who previously studied in Ukraine and lost the opportunity to study there to continue their education in Belarus.

Additionally, citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who previously studied in Ukraine must provide a certified academic transcript indicating the specialty, course, grades and credits in the disciplines studied at the Ukrainian university.

2) Interview for admission to the university

Upon admission to the 1st year of the main faculties of the university, a foreign citizen has an interview in Russian language.

Upon admission to the 1st year in the specialties 7-07-0731-01 "Architecture" and 7-07-0731-02 "Architectural Design", in addition to an interview in Russian language, foreign applicants also undergo an interview in the discipline "Creativity", including "Drawing", "Composition", "Technical Drawing", with the submission of the corresponding creative work.
