Department of Accounting, Analysis and Audit - Brest State Technical University

The Department of Accounting, Analysis and Audit was founded on July 1, 1996. The Department trains students in the following specialties:

"Accounting, analysis and audit" (full-time and part-time form of education);
"Finance and Credit" (full-time form of education).

Since 2013, the Department has opened a magistracy in Accounting, Analysis and Audit.

The founder and the head of the Department from 1996 to 2017 was Vasiliy S. Kivachuk, Associate Professor. The head of the Department from 2017 to 2020 was Elena V. Chernookaya, Associate Professor. Currently, the head of the Department is Natalia V. Potapova, Associate Professor.

The Department has 3 Doctors of Economics, 5 Associate Professors, 11 senior lecturers, 1 assistant and 3 employees of educational support staff. Among the teachers of the Department there are 3 auditors, most of the teachers have experience of working as chief accountants of enterprises, deputy managers for economic and financial issues.

Since 2007, the department has been operating the student scientific economic association "ECOM". Every year the Department organizes the International Student Scientific Forum "Student Scientific Winter in Brest" with the participation of representatives of universities in Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, etc.

Since 2013, on the initiative of the Department, the educational enterprise "Sodruzhestvo" has been created. Foreign students can study and practice in the framework of the educational enterprise "Sodruzhestvo".
