Brest State Technical University hosted a meeting between fifth-year students specializing in "Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation, and Air Quality Protection" and Alexander Borisovich Matyuk, General Director of Brestenergo. The event took place as part of a lecture series titled "Meeting with Promising Young Talent."
Alexander Borisovich presented a comprehensive overview of the energy system's development over recent decades. To illustrate his points, he cited several key facts: "Over the last quarter-century, our energy system has made a massive leap forward—achieving energy independence, establishing our own nuclear power plant, and implementing digital grids. Yet, technology never stands still, and the industry faces new challenges. It is up to you—the new generation—to build the energy sector of the future."
During the open dialogue, the company head discussed the implementation of new technologies, the digitalization of processes, and the transition to modern, eco-friendly power generation standards. Special attention was paid to career prospects: students learned about actual employment opportunities, social benefits for young professionals, and career advancement paths within the region's leading energy complex.
