From June 3 to 4, at the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and the 6th Mechanized Brigade, TT pistol shooting competitions were held among the leadership of the Ministry of Education and higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus, including the Rector of the Brest State Technical University Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich. The event was organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, uniting the rectors of the country's leading universities with military faculties.

The program of the first day included a lecture by the head of the faculty of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Anatolyevich Mikholap, dedicated to the current situation around issues of national security and defense capability of Belarus.

On the second day of the competition, the organizers prepared two spectacular training sessions - an assault on a strong point and a battle in urban areas. Cadets of the military faculty of the Grodno State University named after The Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno demonstrated their skills in small arms and special combat equipment, emphasizing the importance of constant combat readiness. Then, at the Gozhsky training ground, the 6th separate mechanized brigade demonstrated its performance, clearly demonstrating the high combat qualities of the modern army.

The program culminated in the shooting stage from the TT combat pistol. According to the results of the shooting, the winner was the Rector of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, Irina Kiturko. Alexander Viktorovich Naumenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, presented the winners and prize-winners with diplomas, medals, and souvenirs from the Ministry of Defense.

The competitions not only contributed to strengthening ties between educational institutions and military structures, but also became an important step towards improving the level of training for the defense sector. Such events contribute to the formation of strong patriotism and serve as a guarantee of stability and security of our country.
