An information hour dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet Sergei Yesenin was held at the Brest State Technical University Library.
The event was prepared by Professor Maria Petrovna Zhigalova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, and Associate Professor of the Department of Linguistic Disciplines and Intercultural Communications.
The warm atmosphere included poems, memoirs, and stories from the life of the poet, whose work has forever remained a symbol of sincerity and love for his native land.
As part of the event, library staff organized a book exhibition, "I Will Pour My Whole Soul into Words," and lead librarian Svetlana Aleksandrovna Chusovlyankina gave a comprehensive overview, presenting rare editions, biographical materials, and collections of Yesenin's poetry.
Such meetings not only help us remember the classics, but also feel the living breath of poetry that unites generations.
