Volunteer Forum "Step to Leadership"

The Volunteer Forum "Step to Leadership," held November 5-6, was a vibrant event for over 50 participants from across Belarus. It was a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of volunteering, gain new knowledge and experience, and make useful connections among like-minded individuals. Brest State Technical University was represented at the forum by Ilya Makaros-Bognat, a second-year student in the Faculty of Economics.

The forum took place at the Festivalny recreation center, where participants met face-to-face with future colleagues in the volunteer movement. Victoria Zakharevskaya, Director of the Republican Youth Center, opened the event. "This forum is organized especially for you—first- and second-year students of higher education institutions who strive to unlock their leadership potential and contribute to the development of the volunteer movement in our country.

"We are delighted to see you here, because each of you has unique talents and the potential to become a leader!" Victoria Zakharevskaya welcomed the participants.

The students participated in the forum's intensive educational program, which included networking, quests focused on volunteer movement topics, immersion in the activities and structure of volunteer teams, and master classes to develop leadership skills.

Over the course of two action-packed days, the participants gained a wealth of experiences, acquired valuable skills and knowledge, and, most importantly, strengthened their self-confidence and future success as volunteers.
