The qualifying inter-university round of the national youth innovation project "100 Ideas for Belarus" was held at Brest State Technical University

On December 16, the qualifying inter-university round of the national youth innovation project "100 Ideas for Belarus" was held at Brest State Technical University.

This competition traditionally brings together talented young people from Belarus who strive to contribute to the development of our country through the implementation of modern technologies and scientific research. Participants competed in 10 categories: "Energy, including nuclear energy, and energy efficiency," "Agro-industrial technologies and farming," "Industrial and construction technologies," "Healthcare," "Chemical technologies, petrochemicals," "Information and communication technologies," "Ecology," "National security and emergency protection," "Society and social sphere," and "Best business idea."

Following a tense competition, three winners were selected, whose projects will be eligible to present at the national stage of the competition.

Category: National Security and Emergency Protection

Project: "RiskGuard" Material Fire Risk Forecasting and Visualization System

Authors: Veronika Evgenievna Pozharskaya, Ivan Olegovich Petrashuk

The system predicts fire risks based on an analysis of material properties and environmental conditions. This project can significantly improve fire safety for various facilities.

Category: Industrial and Construction Technologies

Project: New Polymer Heating Device for a Hot Water Heating System

Authors: Vladimir Arkadyevich Rozbash, Oleg Aleksandrovich Romanyuk, Maxim Mikhailovich Mitskovich, Anna Olegovna Zdrok

The developed device is energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and durable thanks to the use of advanced composite materials. This will significantly reduce costs and improve the heating efficiency of buildings and structures.

Project: Digital Assistant for BrSTU

The digital assistant is designed to quickly provide essential information to students, staff, and visitors to the university. Integration with artificial intelligence and the popular Telegram messenger will provide 24/7 access to data and reduce the workload of university administration staff.
