In 2022, Brest State Technical University and Xinxiang University, China, launched a unique project. This is not just an exchange of experience, but a full-fledged joint educational program where Chinese students can earn a Belarusian engineering degree.

The joint educational program was initiated under a partnership agreement between BrSTU and Xinxiang University. Its main goal is to train highly qualified specialists for China in in-demand engineering and technical fields, as well as to exchange experience and teaching methods.

A key feature of the program is that training takes place at Xinxiang University. BrSTU faculty travel to China to deliver lectures and conduct practical classes. This allows Chinese students to receive a high-quality Belarusian engineering education without leaving their home country.

The educational process is organized with the requirements of both parties in mind, and instruction is tailored to students' language proficiency.

A third of the curriculum is taught by Brest specialists. Brest State Technical University (BSTU) faculty work with students of all years, covering a wide range of disciplines, including "Theory of Mechanisms and Machines," "Precision Standardization and Technical Measurements," "Materials Science," "Cutting Theory," "CAD of Technological Processes," and others, as well as "Russian as a Foreign Language." This approach allows students not only to acquire professional knowledge but also to confidently master the Russian language, which is especially important for their future careers.

The program has proven so popular that its popularity has grown each year: over a hundred students are enrolled annually.

2026 was a historic year. The first graduation took place—the culmination of extensive teamwork! The students who first joined the program in 2022 now proudly bear the title of BSTU graduates. They mastered complex disciplines, successfully defended their theses, and, most importantly, became part of a large international project.

This is also a major step forward for the university. We don't just teach international students; we train the engineers of the future.

The first graduating class is just the beginning. The program will expand, and the number of students will only grow. Brest State Technical University has proven that high-quality Belarusian technical education is in demand more than ever!
